About
NāUlu is a Hawaii-based nonprofit that helps low-income individuals at risk of homelessness and unhoused families stay connected when communication can make the difference between crisis and stability. By providing fundraised and donated simple phones with prepaid minutes, along with wellness check enrollment, NāUlu offers a practical way for people to reach healthcare, support services, and trusted contacts when they need them most.
Product
We provide basic smartphones with pre-downloaded apps free of cost to our users. Our pre-downloaded apps come with resources to help stabilize living such as GPS directions to food and houseless shelters, as well as tools to help reach employment. Our services work strong with community partnerships such as drop-off locations and to integrate our community organizations into our apps.
